Painting is our main work, inside and out. We also remodel bathrooms and install floors, from the first day to the final coat.

Our story

Started in 2017, now fully local in Richmond

ProGeneralService was founded in 2017. Painting has always been the center of the work: interior and exterior projects, with Sherwin-Williams and Benjamin Moore paints because they hold up better over time.

Over the years the work grew around the painting. Today we also do bathroom remodels, including demolition, layout changes and tile, and we install hardwood, laminate and luxury vinyl plank floors. A single room or a full project, we take it from the first day to the final coat.

We recently moved our office to Richmond, TX. Being close by means we can come out for estimates faster and answer questions without making you wait days.

Our lead painter has more than 35 years in the trade. He checks every surface, decides on the right prep method and makes sure the final result looks clean and professional.

The rest of the crew comes from different backgrounds. Some of us learned the trade in other countries, others worked across several U.S. states before joining the team. Between us we have seen a lot of construction styles, so fewer problems on a job are new to us.

How much does it cost?

Every home is different, so we price each job after a free on-site visit. You get a firm written quote with no hidden fees before any work starts.

Is the estimate really free?

Yes. We come to your home, look at the job in person and take measurements at no charge. The written quote is free too.

What warranty do you offer?

All of our work carries a 2-year workmanship warranty. Exterior painting also has a 5-year warranty against peeling and flaking.

Which paint do you use?

Sherwin-Williams and Benjamin Moore. We use them because they hold up better over time.

Are you licensed and insured?

We are fully insured. Texas does not issue a state license for painters, so insurance is what protects you and your home while we work.

Do you handle plumbing in bathroom remodels?

We do the demolition, layout changes, tile, finishes and fixture swaps. When supply or drain lines have to move, our licensed plumber partner does that part.
